Please respond if you've NOT had a 1200GS/GSA fuel pump controller failure

No trouble here.

2005 GS, mine since July 07, 8,800 miles then, 19,500 now, garaged mostly.

Not going so quick with the milage with my Febr. 2008 GSA, but I can report with great pleasure that the 6k (10k km) milestone has been reached and my service is up for beginning of next week. No issues, just some adjustments needed to the brakelines and a new ews antenna according to the online system at the dealer. Bike has been a true friend to me the past year.
:D

14,000 miles 2007 GSA

No problems with the controller but the EWS changed due to recall I didn't have any trouble with it though. Gearbox output shaft oil seal weeping done under warrenty I didn't notice it it was picked up on service, right boot rubbing the frame but they wont cover that. In two years it has been reliable and never failled to start even when left out in the snow.

I've not had a fule pump controller problem

I have noticed a huge puddle of water in the pump recess, after a ride in the rain, but it hasn't affected anything ...yet!

Fuel pump controller - no failure

- R1200 GS 06 (model and year)
- 24,000
- All weather - mostly weekends 100 up 200 round mile trips
- bike stored during the week in garage

have asked dealer if the system has modification/inspection - waiting for reply but will report after I have looked at the system myself (blue seal?)

1200 GSA 2006 2000 miles. Don't ride it enough. Mostly sits in a garage. No problems.

06 GSA, 8600 miles, never missed a beat on anything, absolutely sweet as a nut, shame as I was going to upgrade to an 08.

no failure 4 me

Just traded this in for a new GSA so as the bike was perfect for my 10 months of ownership here are my details, hope the GSA is as good.

Not yet.

05 GS - 13k all weathers
Lives outside most of summer.

Has large proportion of cover slots (ones exposed to rain) covered with tape, and is now regularly doused in WD40.

Fine so far, but it is furry.
