56 1200GS with about 19k miles, no problems but got dealer to replace FPC under warranty whilst replacing the ignition antenna under warranty. The FPC removed from the bike was failry corroded on the outside. So glad I had it done.:clap

2009 SE 15000 to date and 1 bulb has had to be replaced which i find is a shocking lack of reliability as my 1988 80gs still has the origional headlamp bulb in .
cheers C'n'C:beerjug::blagblah

2005 R1200GS - 35,000 all year round miles, no probs with FPC, but a new instrument pack stung a bit!

FPC fuggin failure new bike....

2011 - 61 plate GSA
2500miles...

A couple of weeks ago i noticed that when i stuck it on the side stand after taking it of my carpeted and warm garage that the revs dropped off by about 200rpm, only done it twice since, then at least three times recently, its felt like it was fuel starving a little bit, crack the throttle open and it seemed to be fine,

....yesterday on the motorway felt like the front was being pushed down by the wind, 75mph, then a few minutes later in the outside lane of the M23 near gatwick, bit more than 75mph, the bloody thing starts to slow down..... in 6 miles had gone from reading 45miles to go, to 27... managed to clutch in and coast to the hard shoulder as it cut out the second i pulled the clutch in... slighty perplexed as its two months old this week...:confused::censor::censor:

Anyway, I thought, its full of gadgets and electrictrickery so I turned it off waited 30 seconds turned it on and off we go again, only to stop 1.7 miles later... get to a petrol station, just and fill the thing up to the brim, took 32.5 litres, now i've run it to .3 off a litre left so i know it wasn't out of fuel.

Phone to bmw and they are having it in to replace the fuel pump... and the down pipes but thats a different story.
bit miffed to be honest as i layed my 80,000 mile bandit twelve up when i bought this, the bike never missed a beat and i never ever worried it would let me down, now i've got the GSA i'm a bit worried to be honest.:(:hide

Used daily
All weathers (West coast Scotland)

Acquired bike from 1st keeper in Sept 2010 with ~8250 miles on it. Used pretty much every day since apart from Dec last year (too much snow and ice). Doesnt get cleaned very often but did spray FPC librally with WD40 last year and once so far this year.
