Please respond if you've NOT had a 1200GS/GSA fuel pump controller failure

Me,
2006 GS Adventure,
20000 Miles,
Usually Parked up from Nov to Feb, (yes i know i'm a wimp)

No probs with the FPC as yet (had probs with other bits though!)
I did by a spare just in case but it's just gathered dust for 2 years.... Maybe thats the solution!!:blast

2004 18k no probs while I've had it. No winter but plenty of wet riding and checked often for corrosion.

Have the workaround instructions though...

Jan 2008. 9800 miles in most kinds of weather (not snow and ice) trouble free (except for battery failure, I think, due to minus 18c in early December). Not ridden past 5 weeks due to work commitments, but fired up weekly.

I'm now hoping I've not jinxed myself and shall be carrying a shamrock, a lucky rabbits foot and touching a piece of wood at all times. :blast

Bought it about 3 weeks ago with 15K km's on the clock
Dealer checked, told me it has a recall for the fuel pump, asked if it needs to be done ASAP, told me no I can have it done at the 20K km service, bike runs fine, has ridden on different kind of conditions (for this month) rain, sun, cold, did yesterday a 400Km trip no issues.
Bike is not Greek, it was imported from Germany.

no fuel pump failure but lots of other things have

No fuel pump failure yet! But everything else that fails on 1200GS failed at least once. Before anyone says I shouldn't be complaining, the bike cost 9 grand, so I'm entitled.:D
