I am not a site sponsor and so far I have had one post modified and another deleted regarding advertising or promoting items I have for sale.

In order to gain understanding of what is permitted would I be able to say that
EDIT....No......the rules are pretty clear and trying to find ways round them isn't going to work I'm afraid.

I presume one of the other moderators deleted the other post you mention.

I did have a look for forum rules but could not find them, still can't. Look in the stickies ? Nothing there I can find either.

Another question. Were I to be surfing ebay and I saw something that may interest guys here, providing I'm not selling it, would I, as a non sponsor, be able to post a link.
