..as it happens...yes! ...twice in fact..

...to be honest i never took much notice of it, both times it happened at very low speed, whilst slowing down with the throttle rolled off...had time enough to bump it both times...

I'll let ya know if it happens again...(bikes done 6K)

Happened to me to aswell but only once.Slowing down for a corner it just cut out.

Not only ADV's, but it's happened to me on both 1150's and the 1100,always on the overrun.
Rarely..........though i'm pleased to say.

Happened to me a few times too, half a year ago. Adjusted valve clearances, synchronised throttle bodies, increased idle rpm a tad, never happened since...

Seems the ol' boxer needs to be tuned better to keep running. Never happened with my previous K-beemers. If you ask me, the 10k (km) service interval is too long for the valves and the synch job. Luckily it's a much quicker job on a boxer!

Keep it tuned, rev it up and ride!

Cuttin out.

My GS1100 kept cutting out at every junction and when going slow, I fixed it by upping the Idle RPM slightly.. hasnt done it since.

My 03 GS is doing it regularly, usually when I'm slowing down changing gear from 2nd thru neutral into 1st.

Hopefully Sawbridgeworth will deal with it @ 600 mile service.

P.S. It's a twinspark

Not just a GS problem

I experienced this on my last bike - R850R.

It happened just after a service - the ignition/injection system hadn't been tuned quite right.

Took it back to the dealers (Clarkes@Rednall), and they reset the fuel injection, and it was fine thereafter.
