Hi folks!
If I had more time, I'd trawl through the forum for answers to this but any answers, ideas, or pointing me in the right direction would help.
I was riding my 58 plate GSA back home on the M180 today. As I came into Grimsby, I noticed that the clutch lever needed to be pulled right back before the clutch operated, even though it had been just fine earlier on the ride.
However, after changing gear and operating the clutch lever a few times, all seemed OK again, and it seems fine right now. No leaking is apparent from the master or slave cylinders, and the fluid level in the clutch fluid reservoir is just fine as well.
Is this just a one off or is this evidence of an evolving problem? Astle in Grimsby are going to take a look at it when it has the first service just after Easter, before Mrs J and I go off to Spain. They thought from my description over the phone that it was unlikely there was a problem but I wondered if anyone here knew more about this.
I just want to be sure the bike is tippity-top before we leave for Portsmouth!
Thanks very much!
J
