Nope ( no mention of supplied without fittings - wouldn't be worth buying then, would it), advertised as a rear wheel hugger...one assumes it is complete when selling it!!

If it was just a couple of longer bolts then OK...but it is these special items I need....

It may be worthwhile contacting 'pyramid plastics' direct and seeing how much the set of bolts will cost. the reason being... the C/F hugger direct from them is £154.99.

so what you paid those chancers in Long Eaton represents a considerable saving.

even if the parts cost £20 or so.

Obviously if they can't supply the bolt set as a stand alone item.. then thats that.

I know where your coming from ( half expected this kind of reply on here ) but this isn't the point..you'd be well peeved if you bought an item and then was told the fitting kit isn't with it so go out and source one...what type of business is run like that? You buy a TV expecting the remote to be with it etc not told ( in the negative ) that "we never said the remote would be with it" !!
Nope, told them to stuff it and it is still in original packaing for them to collect.

Besides, if it is that simple, why don't Pidcocks contact Pyramid to send one to me? Nope, they are trying to shaft me!!

Pidcocks are my local dealership... There's a reason I never go near the place.

on a current listing for one of these they say. "IT DOES NOT COME WITH ANY FITTINGS ( NOT SURE IF YOU NEED ANY ANYWAY )"

seem to recall the 1100 I'm picking up tomorrow had a fairly long flexible plastic flappy thing to cover up the rear [cough] Ohlins ( ), which IIRC was longer than the similar flappy thing on my 1150gs, but can't check til tomorrow.

Hugger can't do any harm imho to keep crap from flying about . I felt as tho it did a reasonable job on my 1150, but then it was on from the start so I had no comparison, really. I am easily pleased Sometimes
