Quest, Question

Guys, excuse my ignorance, but just received my Garmin Quest.

1. Can I take it for granted, that what is loaded as standard on the system, is what is on the disc supplied with it, ie, the Europe City Select V6.?

2. Is there room for any more maps, on the system, or is that the memory full, as I would like to try and obtain a more detailed map of Ireland. As stated on another thread, the details in the North are fantastic, whilst Eire, is just the basic road map?

base maps are loaded but for more detail load the mapsource onto the pc and transfer the detailed maps of where you want to go to the Quest
Dont register your Quest yet as there is a version 8 of mapsource being released in the new year and i believe will be going under a differant name (navigator ?) and if you havent registered you may qualify for the free upgrade
