question about rear shock for R1150GS adventure

Hello everyone,

I have a 2004 GSA. My rear shock needs some TLC and i'd like to bring it to ABE in greenwich.
I know they have a 5 day turn-around time.... but I use the bike every day....

Does anyone know if I could fit a R1150GS rear shock on my GSA? I have one and I was wondering if I could fit it whilst the original is getting rebuild and serviced.

Yes it will fit but it will drop your rear by 1inch.

Just go careful around the corners, especially if you have peg lowerers as well.
