A neighbour of mine has had his bike failed by the local MOT station.
One of the bad bits is his rear disc, which needs replacing.
Having had a quick look, it looks like the disc is rivetted to the carrier/wheel. If it is rivetted, it will have to go to some specialist for the work.
However, it looks like there is a ring of tapped holes(M6) on the same PCD, that may be used to mount a new disc on perhaps, maybe, possibly, once the rivets are ground off. (I can ground the rivets off but havent got the facilities to re-rivet.
I wonder if the M6 holes can be used to remount a fresh disc ?
Anyone come across this, im guessing the 1200 is similar (ie, not much info about !)
Another thing too. As these bikes havent got a centre stand, how do the "experts" remove the rear wheel ?
