I think with suspension you do sort of get what you pay for, and if you want it and need it then you can justify the cost of Ohlins, etc. But if your needs can be satisfied with something half the price, then that's great. I don't think it's necessarily snobbery to want the best, but not everybody needs it.

You need to try the better shocks before saying there's snobbery going on. I've posted pictures before of my hagon shock where the top mount failed at 70mph. As joe says above you do get what you pay for.

i hope yours doesn't fail but if it does and you're still in one piece afterwards I'm sure you'll gladly spend a few pounds extra for something that's better made.

Well I went for the hyperPro Option

Hi everybody

I went for the HyperPro option. It took two months for the custom built rear shock to arrive and I fitted it today. I will fit the replacement fork springs and oil once I have got used to the rear shock.

I will be posting step by step pictures of the replacement process.
