R65 Green Laner.

I picked up the tank and side panels from a mate today, stickers on tank and side panels fitted, they will go back for clear coat. I’m in the middle of building a wiring loom so that’s taking a little time, another mate is making a pair of silencers which will be cerakoted black to match the downpipes.

I fitted an Electrosport ESR450 Regulator Rectifier today, does away with the diode board and regulator. I’ve mounted it under the seat to keep it in airflow to minimise overheating. It looks a well made bit of kit,but time will tell.

Great project. You aren't going to want to take that beauty green laneing

Great looking bike.

Where did you get the exhaust coated? Is it expensive?

I have a mate who does powder coating and cerakoteing, no idea how much it is, I build his spoked wheels and he does my powder coating and cerakote.

Bloody hell Lewis, I'm waiting to see pictures of this out in the wild, in its natural habitat, somewhere up a Welsh valley (not a euphemism)!

Not quite, just finishing the electrics, plan is to be using it before the end of the summer.
Just back from trail riding on mine in northern Spain. It rode really well and impressed me on big rocky climbs and also on single track. Very easy to ride with low CG and tractor like torque on tick over. Only problem I had was oil temp which got seriously hot at times, so I’m now fitting a big oil cooler. If you fancy doing some trail riding when it’s finished drop me a PM👍

That looks absolutely stunning. Well done, really excellent build. Now go and enjoy riding it 👍👍👍

Nice work .. BTW, on the TKC 80's .. they are pretty good for green-lane work, (I run mine at 16 PSI front and 20 PSI Rear), but I have found them VERY sketchy on damp/wet grass and they can 'climb' quite quickly in ruts. Found the best technique on ruts is to maintain a slower speed but with positive throttle. Because you have done such a great job I might suggest that you get yourself a pair of scruffy valve covers as they will be taking the brunt of any drops or rut scrapes .. apologies if I am teaching you to suck eggs, BTW .. cheers

You've done a fantastic job on that; just out of interest have you any idea of the weight?
Not sure of the weight, when I get a chance I’ll call into my mates mot centre and ask him to weigh it.
