Rannoch Station Saturday 30th April

some fantastic old Jaguars especially one particular E-Type which had been converted in New Zealand by a company called Beachams who take out the engine and front suspension and put in a super charged 4 Litre V8 from the New XKR. They also put the interior and electrics from the XKR into the etype and although no longer a true classic its a far better car. You should have heard it too (box of tissues required). The owner had 2 cars the Burgandy XK120 DHC and this V8S E-Type DHC.

Pity about the satnav

Some 'E' type that Andy.... Room in the garage for one yerself....?;)

Went out again all day on the bike and as we were going near Dunkeld I popped by the Hilton to see if they were all there ut they were out on a run. Not to worry I took some video of it yesterday.... what an engine note. The guy driving the XK120DHC owns them both.

Not sure if anyone else was out on Glenshee today and saw all the feraris (about 30 of them and a MAserati thrown in too)... sounded lovely.

Made the mistake of taking the 'challanging' route to Killin on the wee Triumph road bike....the one with all the farm gates (on hills) and 6ft deep potholes etc....where's my GS when I need it!! :D
Headed up by Lochearn, Crieff, Sma' glen, Dunkeld, Couper Angus etc, brilliant day to be out on a bike...she did very well too...although 220 miles is definately 'sair erse' territory on this bike!!
Good to meet a few of the lads yesterday :thumb

'the one with all the farm gates (on hills)'

obviously trying to deter traffic - the phukers.
Road had been closed off for a number of years then 'opened' again with NO gates.
Will have to go up on my GSA and a rope an pull the gates doon :flag

not farm gates--forestry--big bit of planting on both sides of the road-- keep yer rope in Fife ya wee shite.
