Redline oil

Evening all,
Is anyone running Redline oil in their 1250?
My bike sounds awfully noisy and I would like to quiet it down.
I used redline in my Harley’s and it was wonderful oil and quietened it down so much.

Wear ear plugs and read the label on the bottle. Does it meet the spec for a BMW? Pay particular attention to the label saying JASO MA2 which is required for bikes with wet clutches.

they all sound like that sir,specs should be a 5w/40 oil .if its any help to you my r1250gs is only 10 months old with 8000 miles on it ,and it too sounds like a bag of spanners.just get used to it

My 1250 just had a service yesterday before I bought it, it sounds like a rattly bag of nails but it runs like a charm and shifts up/down perfectly so I'm not bothered. Obviously it has just had an oil and filter change.

A mate has a 2022 1250GSA with 2k on the clock and his bike sounded like a bag of nails too in town when hot. I reckon they all do it.
