And if yes, it is pricey?
Plan B... Is the wiring already in place to add my own, and what will this do to my Warranty?

I'll source the lights of my choice for less than that![]()
I came up with this lowcost-solution, 25mm pipeclamps, cost me about 1£ a piece, and the lights were bought at a carpartsdealer, 2 for about 30£.Padge said:...Anyone know any alternative options for the 12GSA?

How did you switch them?... And what do dealers say about electrical jiggerypokery if there is a warranty claim?
Gilbert said:Thanks, it is as you say a very simple type of mounting, but at the same time very stable and extremely flexible. I have not wired them in yet, where i live we got dark just a couple of hours in the middle of the night this time of year, and in a couple of weeks you can hardly notice the transition between dusk and dawn so the need for the lights are not very urgent, but when i get to it i belive it will be done something like this: http://www.r1200gs.info/howto/lights-1.html The MicroFlooters seem to have very similar brackets and wiring as the lights I bought, I would not be surprised if they are made in the same factory.
I have now sorted out the wiring, I connected it from the wires going to my homemade unswitched 12V outlet via a 12V relay that is triggered from the white high-beam wire by the headlight. I also installed the option to shut down the auxiliary lights by a switch installed on a small console to the right of the left handlebar. The relay is located behind the left sidepanel in the cavity where the mountingbracket for the tank is located.
