Right result?

I heard the news that he beat the assault charge and rightly so but I was sick when I heard about the compo:nenau ,FFS €175,000 :blast

have heard a lot of people talking about this the last few days and every one said it was wrong to have gone to court at all,and as for the payment for damages the broken legs stopped him from robbing for a while,

if the home owner was before a judge he could have got jail but as it was a jury of home owners and not do gooders he got justice

as a person who has had his home robbed twice and his bussiness robbed more times than he can remember i think 2 broken legs were good enough for him and he should have got no compo

my 2p worth

Steady on there Frank, it's not like you to be talking sense. :D :D

But I do agree with you. :thumb2

In terms of the court case, yes, absolutely the right result....Guy who went after him got off and that's the way it should be.

The problem is the 175 grand the scrote managed to extract from the guy's insurance company (IE it wasn't compensation) by suing him before the criminal trial.

What happened in that case is harder to find info on, but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the insurance company had settled out of court, knowing that the costs of fighting it would have been more than the 175k :nenau

PS doesn't make that right though
