RISE NOW AND BE A NATION AGAIN !

I'd rather vote for cap'n than wee ex bluetoon eckie. oh mates in Scalloway want to have Norway not eckie I said right on the norskies have at least common sense. And at least they could run a bun stall and a lot more besides. I think the norskies once owned Shetland anyway

Please vote YES and feck off.

I'm fed up with all this crap about independence.

Maybe the UK should have a vote.

Call it the " Do we want anything to do with Scotland anymore" vote! :thumb2

Well vote yes then, I would if I were Scottish.

However forget using our currency and thinking you can have any influence over it, prepare for the rUK to close down any military bases in Scotland, don't expect to be able to view the BBC, expect the rUK government to cancel any government contracts and award them to companies based at home, take your share of the current national debt in full from day one and get ready for your tax rises in order that Scotland can afford it's own armed forces, police, education system, welfare state etc etc. I wonder if Uni's will continue to be free?

Genuinely good luck to Scotland if they vote to go independent. However only if it is TOTAL independence with them not expecting or receiving one British penny in support. Take one British penny and don't try to kid yourselves you are independent.

Yep and when we have learnt how to bake shortbread you'll be truly fucked because we'll have no reason at all to bankroll your benefits system and free uni's.

Please do the rUK a favour and vote YES :thumb2

You just can't conceal that absolute resentment, can you?

"Who the fcuk does Scotland think it is?"

God forbid that some people would want an independant country..............

"We won't let you watch the BBC!" I manage to watch it in South Korea - so I don't think Scotland would be much of a challenge....................

If you hate Scotland and its people as much as you appear to............. please have the integrity to stay away.

Don't take things so seriously. :blast

Most of what I say is tongue in cheek bollocks mate, so I really wouldn't take me to seriously, hell I don't take myself seriously never mind anyone or anything else if life.

I happen to think a lot of Scotland and its people, and I like the idea of us sticking together. We've fought side by side in far more wars than we've fought against each other. It works ill be sorry to see it break up if that happens.
You will however have to except that if its a close vote and England and the rest of the UK see it that large numbers of Scottish folk want out, its going to leave a bitter taste. Bit like trying to be mates/brothers/family together with someone who doesn't want to reciprocate.
It'll leave a bitter taste with some being happy and some being pissed off at the eventual outcome and the inevitable mud slinging leading up to the vote.

What will be will be I suppose, but the very starting of this process will leave many dissatisfied with the outcome.

Was it worth it ? You decide... :thumb2

Exactly cap'n and Blackal. Wee eckie and the rest bring it all on themselves heck my caithness family some of them were driven out of their homes to let some sheep in. But that's all gone in the past I'm part of a family and I just don't go with eckie and his dismemberment of me and mine. And I just find it ridiculous that some of us want to break us all up when none of my lot in Scotland want anything to do with eckie or his daft idea. Sorry my take on the vote NO sorry.

we know ur taking the piss CB & i too will be voting to stay together. salmond & his minions are bafoons waving a saltire & scotland this and scotland that.to him its just a game which could do irreparable damage to scotland. for the folk that are for it he still hasn’t provided figures for anything on how scotland will progress & how they will achieve it.to me its the blind leading the blind or should i say lemmings jumping off a cliff.:)the only thing i would say is that the nonsense of scotland wouldn’t be allowed to use sterling is a nonsense, its as much our currency as anyones although going by how many times i’ve had arguments with alot of petrol stations claiming they dont accept scottish notes(all told to fuck off and syphon the fuel out if they want it back anyway i digress).cameron & his cronies fecked up there, instead off panicking they should have kept they’re gob shut.things do need to change for all of the uk & as long as we let the toffs run things we will all suffer from they’re stupidity.

Right on morty we should put eckie and Cameron in a box together (for good) anyway have a good day freend going to have a look up the road it's drying here. ps I've come to the conclusion that politicians equal stupidity.

Far from hating Scotland the two times I have been there it looked lovely and if I were Scottish I may well like the idea of being independent from the rUK. That is if I could really believe in the Politian's who were wanting to split my country from rUK and could be convinced by them that it was a model that was going to work well for the future. I would also have no interest in seeing my country become anything other than FULLY independent.

As I said, good luck if you all vote yes, but as far as I'm concerned that should mean not one penny of rUK money going north of the border and no shared currency, after all why would you want it. As an Englishman I would quite like independence from Wales, Scotland and N.I, and if that day ever came I wouldn't want or expect anything from them.

What will happen after a No vote?

Cameron, his crew and the Bitter Together campaign have refused to tell us what the benefits of staying in the union are, because there arn't any positive benefits. So what do you think will happen to Scotland, apart from the removal of the Barnet formula, leaving Scotland with 7.5 billion to find every year, no free tuition or prescriptions and a rise every year in council tax will only cover some of it.
Cameron or Milliband will finish what Thatcher didn't and my guess is we will be punished for generations to come.

Independence is forever, Alex Salmond can me voted out in 2016.

you’re right & tell me which clown will replace him, they’re all feckin incompetent. wouldn’t trust them with a tin of biscuits let alone my country.

Personally I would rather have a Scottish clown govern us from Edinburgh than a clown from Westminster govern us. But that was not my point, what is going to happen to Scotland if we vote no? Westminster will decimate us and our children, is that really what we want?
I wanted devo max but that option is not available, I owe it to my children to vote yes and at least give them a chance of a future in Scotland.

In the event of a No vote things will continue as they are now. If there is to be any punishment dished out it will be from the SNP who will want revenge against the No voters. I predict the SNP will implode with infighting blaming each other for losing. labour will be voted into the Scottish Parliament and the bills will start to fall due to be paid for the freebies that the SNP have attempted to bribe us with. Council tax will rise and tuition fees will be introduced. Eventually the Scottish people will look for a centre right party to get to grips with public spending and this will be formed from some disillusioned SNP thinkers and some from tory and liberal camps who might, just might set Scotland on the road to real prosperity. There are some real savvy operators in the SNP camp who just have to get over their love affair with old fashioned socialism.

There is no sensible person in Scotland who would believe that scenario.
Cameron has made it clear that in the event of a no vote the Barnet formula will be scrapped, where will Scotland make up the 7.5 billion shortfall?

And don't forget he wants to privatise your pension, and that will work out well, won't it?

Well you've had two Scottish clowns (Blair and Brown) govern you for several years from Westminster, I don't think a few hundred miles will make that much difference :)

But the big difference is that we get the chance to vote for Cameron every 5 years. There is no going back on independence. Ask Toddy to cut and paste a quote from Cameron that the Barnett formula will be scrapped in the event of a No. vote. Don't waste time pasting SNP minister's quotes that Cameron has said this. let's see what Cameron himself has said about it.

The Yes campaign are on the back foot at the moment and having seen how the Scottish public feel about their finances in poll after poll they are moving away from the "freedom" policy towards what they think will be more lucrative territory by coming up with scares about how impoverished we will be if we vote No. Look out for "westminster to cut old age pension for Scottish OAPs" followed by "westminster to shut Scots hospitals" and "David cameron is Maggie Thatcher in drag risen from the grave".

By the way in the event of a Yes vote the Barnett formula would end.

They are full of wind and pish. If the SNP tell you it is Thursday, check the calendar.
