Took her out for a run today but it didn't start well.

Bike stopped about 2 miles from the house and didn't want to start.

Good battery, fuel in tank check, petrol taps on Ooooh ballcocks, I'll have to get used of these bloody tap contracptions.

Any ways fill her up and end up in the Brecon Beacons and it feels great, it pulls well and handling isn't as querky as I once thought.

Ride with anticipation, planning and as smooth as possible and it all makes for a relaxing ride.

I've got Geriatric Germ's panniers on it for the moment until I can drop then off to him.

I'm going to change the front brake lines for the correct set-up then I'll refit the fairing lowers and it'll be back to std.

Rob the gearbox leak is no more and it changes a treat:thumb

Looking forward to a good day out now :D

Glad your enjoying it Paul. It looks great.

It was seeing your previous posts that have set me off with restoring mine. I'll have to get the rolling chassis out of the loft when the Mrs is out again. She still doesn't know there's an RS in the loft :D

Love the colour :drool ......enjoy :thumb2

P.S. I have a pair of 'period' Krauser Starlets with frames, rack & keys which might fit. Make me an offer if you're interested.

I say old boy, that appears to be a fine example of one of BMW's finest two wheeled vehicles, must admit in my favourite colour as well. :thumb

Can I ask in future you post such threads witha NTS (Not Thunder Safe) prefix? My bank balance will thank you :augie

PS First dibs when your fed up with it :D
