Well ....If You Must Have an Answer!

I'm not interested in rugby or football so normally wouldn't comment on the subject. However, as you seem to expect a response, all I will say is - you are probably correct:thumb - it would have been at least four pages, - but is that not the case both sides of the border:nenau - I'm still fed up listening to Englandshire re-living their 1966 football victory and that was nearly 50 years ago:eek:
So, your right - Scotland got hammered on Saturday - so nobody's rushing to discuss it on here - well, except one Englishman! but I think that would be exactly the same South of the Border in the Englandshire section if they'd been hammered?

Cheers....................Grizzly:beerjug:

Its the response to the result that I made the comment on, those south of the border would gladly be self critical and have been so in the past in an effort to improve for the future. To improve you need to accept your failures and when does that happen on here thats the point.
As they say you need to be in it to win it and you never know the world cup is here again, you can only try. We shall see what is said if England don`t play well in Brazil, no doubt a good kicking from up here as people rush to discuss it

England won - totally different league.
It wasn't difficult as Scotland were crap.
There wasn't any need to state the obvious.

Had Scotland won the whole of jokester land would be clapping and bleating on how good they were. Probably be burning the union jack and shouting FREEEEEDOM etc..

England are comfortable with their status and success.

Thats the difference.:D

Aye so when the French won the English were comfortable? Bollocks

Different league? Yup, different population base for a start, different number of folk playing rugby, etc etc. So aye, Scotland lost but England aren't exactly the world beaters they claim to be right now :augie

Had the underdog won of course we'd be shouting about it (just like 1964 or was it 6, can never remember)

Though I do humbly realise that England has never been an underdog. Or ever will be
. Hurrah :aidan
