By popular demand - a re-run of the route used on 9 May this year. Better weather to be arranged for this time please
09.00 - Starting from junction 5 on the M20 - at the top of the slip road on the North side (slip road from West - London Direction).
Tour through Kent in an anti-clockwise direction through mainly country lanes.
There are some bits of road where you can open up and have a blast but it's mainly minor roads & lanes.
A reminder - the route includes lanes with grass growing down the centre and going under low hanging branches, tight corners with adverse cambers and tight up and down hill bends. In May there were a few potholes and other bits of road surface missing and lots of gravel and detritus along the centre of the road in lots of places. The ride was OK then for bikes with road tyres - no off road at all.
The route will include a stop off for a late breakfast and near the end at a pub for people who want to have a pint and a chat or go their way and make the most of the rest of the day.
The route willl end on the A 249 so that people can go North to the A2 or South to the M20.
I'll run the route and report anything significant - there's a fair chance some of the pot holes will have been repaired since we were there last.
