Hi Gerry, last three weeks have been busy for me. Nearly all of the suggestions have come through as threads here, you can flick through them and see for yourself. Not many waypoints (thanks turpin!), any suggestions about picking places that have not had a reliable waypoint given? I was thinking of setting an area and the first picture, with a waypoint, sent to me as part of the photo rally could set the waypoint for everyone else? Do you think this would work? Might be a way to get it off the ground ???

Great idea Dave, I haven't got waypoints but locations should be fine for the first year and hopefully guys will enter into the spirit of the thing and send in waypoints as the year goes on to help you compile a database.
I suggest Ardnamurchan lighthouse, theres a handy sign at the traffic lights there, the steel brige across the Orchy in Glen Orchy, the cottage at access road to Glencoe ski resort (Black cottage?), Smoo cave to get them up North and Dunnet head as already suggested. For me its the riding there that is the attraction as some of the Irish ones are of no interest but can be great fun getting there.(No offence Gerry)

Just print a list of 20 locations and best pics win a prize. Judges decision final...simples

Don't you hate it when life gets in the way of things.... Went off the radar for a while there, sorry. Postponing the setup of the Photo Rally until next year, I'd prefer to post it with actual waypoints rather than names of places and I will try to collect as many as I can before it gets icy again. If you would like to help out please send a waypoint and description at least, photo and description of a good route to it would also help. Thanks to all who have helped so far, its appreciated !
