Seat Saga Continues

I got the standard seat when I ordered the GS 3k miles ago and never felt good about it.. Front tips down on high or low settings and with front high and rear low -which is the best setting- and I love it but.. I am then a bit short**sed - Anyway tried a mates and I get on well with the stock low unit - any of you big guys made the same mistake the other way round and maybe on for a swap/sell?

Yes I have smart ar*e Bought it used and it appears to have been owned but somebody who was vertically challenged, unlike myself who is lucky to be of an average height,

I just noticed from your profile that you had a different bike. It's sometimes easy to forget that we are talking about different models here on the forum and I thought I were being helpful in pointing that out. Once again I'm very sorry to have interfered!

Searanger - presumably (as you've tried one) you're aware that the Low seat doesn't have any adjustment so you wouldn't be able to lift the front?

Yeh J - I have tried the stock low seat and feel it better (for me) even without the adjustment - saying that I run locally with my adjustable seat on low but on runs (100mls+) I adjust to the high position.
Saying that I see wunderlich have a low adjustable seat - anyone know if they are good?

I have Wunderlich's low "Ergo" seat and find it extremely comfortable. You tend to sit "in" it more without the feeling of being tilted slightly forward, and is better for the lower back. Although slightly lower than the BM low seat, it is slightly wider so the reach to the ground is about the same (on the lowest setting). I still occasionally use the original low seat on track days and when in the mood for just scratching around on shorter journeys as, it is easier to shift from side to side when encountering S-bends. I have already offered another member the opportunity to try it out: the offer still stands for anyone interested!
