Is it possible to get a second hand front abs sensor for a '99 1150, the one with Brembo brakes? Snapped mine attempting to take it off for a re-spray of the lower forks n brace!!!! And two bolts also! Guess i'm just unlucky as every job on it so far has involved a sheared off or rounded bolt

Is it also poss to ride the bike with the sensor unplugged until i find a replacement?

You have to remember that a lot of the bolts are made of an alloy of chocolate and cream cheese.

Yes no problem, of course ABS won't engage. Try motorworks for a second hand one.
