Keep the original, save a fortune, and buy an Airhawk![]()

and as if by magic, I've got one I don't use and I'm thinking of selling. Yours for the princely sum of £200 + p&P. If you're interested I'll post some pictures.
WOW thats cheap, most I've seen them go for 2nd hand is between £300-£400.

It's only the front seat not a pair. However if needs be I can suitably raise the price![]()
My experiences...
1 - Standards seats 2hrs to complete mental breakdown and close to tears
2 - Sargent seats 3hrs to significant discomfort
3 - Sargent + Airhawk 3.5 hrs - discomfort
4 - Sargent + Airhawk + Sheepskin 4hrs absolute max.... (being 6'2" helps now...!)
Bottom line (sic) is that this remains the most uncomfortable bike I have ever ridden. I can spend 8 hrs on a Blade, Bird, VFR, K1300S etc etc.
So why do I continue with this love-hate relationship? A different answer depending on how long I've been on it! All you can do with the suggested changes is move the point of discomfort, live with that and you're sorted (and your wallet emptied!)![]()
...So what size petrol tank on the 'blade enables you to keep going for eight hours
