Shit Off!

Nearly took the words right out of my mouth.

Let me get this straight...........you start with the cosmetically enhanced (or should that be challenged?), more expensive GSA, take a few bits off and end up with a 1200GS.

Hmmmmm...........

:nenau :nenau :nenau :nenau :nenau :nenau :nenau

I was thinking just the same.

Bit like going out and buying a really smart suit to go to a wedding then deliberately barfing down it to make it look worse.

Ah well...... :D

My 12 is not BARF!:shout

FFS don't give him ideas. Him hanging his dirty underpants over his head was about as much as I can cope with

The only standard bits that are missing, are the tank crash bars, cause I'm waitng on new lower ones. The rest are accessories, like the pannier rails and top box rack. I ain't usin the panniers at the minute, so I took the rails off.
so all I have to do to change it back to a standard 12 is take off...

1. the large tank

2. the braided hoses

3. the extra long travel suspension

4. the larger screen

5. the beak protector

6. the Adv seat

7. the extra large alternator

8. the beak and tank, change them back to red yellow blue are grey ones

9. the black spoke wheels, for nancy alloy ones

10. the engine guards

11. spray the black frame silver/grey

and a few more things that differentiate it from the standard 12

Now that should take about another 5 minutes, about the same time it took too remove the pannier rails and rear rack.

FFS boys get a life, only fiddlin with me new toy... I think it's got a bit to go yet before she's back to a standard 12, don't you. Now where's the bucket of boke, and me sledge hammer :D

Standard 1200 has steel brake lines, so that'll save you 30 seconds :thumb

Standard 12!

Standard you say.

Well, there's nothing standard about them I'd say. :nenau

Bit like a standard Ferrari/Porche??

I like to say "the 12 gs" or "the 12 Adventure".
