I think we may have rats under the shed. I’ve got a decent air rifle, HW 95, I think.

They are only out at night. Is there a reasonably priced thermal scope I could use?

I could rent you one.... Thermal is a game changer but poison in a drain pipe works just as well..

But not as much fun ;) I had some success when my mom had rats after leaving the bird food in her greenhouse by staking bacon down with a tent peg so the bu88ers had to stop, rather than dart out, grab the food then run off.

Kin Ell Martin ... Thermal is a tad OTT

I use a Sight Mark Wraith 2-16x28 on my HW100 which is more than enough for what you need

That does look like it might do the trick…

Do I need anything to fit it?

I’m going to snipe that auction- what price do you reckon, Paul?

The used one in the eBay advert has everything you need

If you want to borrow my HW100 fitted with the Sight Mark Wraith 2-16x28 let me know

What you will also need is some bait for the Rats to come to. I use Garlic Mayo :mcgun

Well i tried to sell a sightmark Wraith on here but it ended up on E bay and i got much more but thats life when no ne wants something

I now use a Zulus NT which is a step up from the wraith as it is lighter and built in IR

This any good, I have not used it for the last 18 months

Have you looked at a Pard 007 night vision ad on, attaches to the front of the scope, or a Sytong,
You can pick those up relatively cheap second hand,
Currently have an Arken Zulu on my Vixen, great bit of kit

I think you mean the back of the scope.
The pard and sytong are great bits of kit.
Like everything, it depends on how much you want to pay. Thermal is waaaaaaay expensive.
I have a Zulus on my air rifle for shooting the rats out in the wood shed.
This is ideal, mixture of nv and thermal. https://www.blackwoodoutdoors.co.uk/product/dnt-zulus-lrf-zhd312r-3-12x-hd-digital-scope/
