Looking at a 150 for the rear of my 650 twin,
Yes I know they live on 140's...
Has anyone fitted a 150 onto the cast rim ??

Told ya ...stupid question..Ive searched, no answer...Cheers guys..Tosh

Yes, it is easy to do. That is the only set up I have run for the last 2 tires and I am on my 3rd 150. They are easier to get in the 3rd world.
You will notice a slight difference in cornering and get used to it after about 100kms.

You know when its a silly question when you already know the answer...But something in the back of your mind says " it wouldn't hurt to ask"....
Sorry for wasting your time and thanks for the reply..have a good Easter...Tosh..

No worries, on the contrary it is a good question. I have been using the 150 out of convenience due to a real lack of 140 rubber here. Even the dealer recommends a 150 instead of making you wait and wait on a 140.

mexico !!!! i bet its a damn site warmer there than here:D you lucky sod:thumby:

Another hear, tourances, 150's on my casts for me was the best performance on road to date. :thumb2 :D

before you ask :D here is Essex, but im not tethered :D:D:D:D

A matched set of Tourances should have been the stock set up on the F658 instead of the Bridgestones. Bridgestones wore well but feedback was nill.
I have been using a matched set of Contiental Trail Attacks, decent tire but I am thinking about the new Anakee 3's. I might go back to the 140 set up if they are available.
