After a recent trip to Germany SWMBO told me that my beloved 1150GS was looking dated alongside the new 1200s and had i considered getting a new one. I told her that the only bike i would consider swapping the GS for would be an 1150ADV and that i wasnt interested in a 1200, that was until the anniversery models were announced. I had arranged a test ride of a 2010 GS and all was set until the dealer next to my work had an 1150ADV come in for sale. It was a no brainer , keep the GS and for less than it would have cost to change for a new 1200 i now have the cleanest and best kept ADV i have ever seen. It has onl done 6000 miles and is stunning , and i get to keep my GS that i have had from new. I will try and post some photos tomorrow, as you might be able tell i am made up with my purchase.
