Yeah, the ones I have are shorter but I couldn't find them online. I'm not hard on my footwear. I still have walking boots that are over 25 years old.
However, a 12 year old pair of socks that is still wearable and has kept my foot warm and cool over many thousand miles is still pretty impressive.
Ok....I've got a thing about socks and boots and shoes and gloves and jackets and hats and bike kit. Did I mention bike kit.....?

I'm tempted to give the socks from Moorland Hosiery a try; 80%/20% mix of merino/polyamide for £5 a pair & free delivery (for a limited period), and get a couple of pairs from MW.
I can then test them before we (hopefully) go away

Non sweaty socks = less cheesy smells in the hotel room, so a better night sleep for me. Someone, please recommend something quick.
You need good quality merino wool socks. Expensive but, with care, last for years. Wash them out and they dry in minutes. Accept no alternatives. Trust me.
I have tried most brands of merino socks - or a blend of merino and something else. Smart wool in their many guises I think are the best. Quality and comfort are remembered long after the price is forgotten.
Just bought 3 pairs to give them a try. Free shipping to Ireland as well (which is a Brucey bonus)

Yes just has 3 pairs delivered today from there, no marking on them but they look and feel alright.
Andi....so first impressions for fit, feel against skin, comfort....all ok or good?

I just picked the different colours at random.Now I wouldn't know a diamond it you threw on at me so bear with me, they are thin but feel nice and soft with a good weave and for the price its worth a gamble.
