I am relatively new to the GS world and here I though I was joining a mature crowd. Its like listening to 5 yr olds b1tching how their toy is more fun to play with.

I mean seriously why do some of you take this sh1t so seriously and why do you give a rats arse what somebody else thinks about what you ride?

Aren't the LC owners the same crowd that used to be your GS brothers last year riding the previous model. So they get beaten up on here because they took the plunge and upgraded. Don't we all upgrade at some point to a new model?

1500 miles in the last 5 days on the HD Road King, and I do sort of love it. But it makes the LC look sharp and refined. I do feel sorry for the OP, he has jumped right out of the frying pan into the fire. I give him 3 months before he sells it.

To be fair I think you'll find that a lot of those that take the rip are those that do the most riding, meet with each other on a regular basis and actually DO have a life. They are too busy riding their bikes to post bollox about what the latest, over priced, Touratwat bling is that they have fitted to their over polished bike.

I was an early buyer of the original 1200 (which I still have) and believe you me the WC owners have had it easy; somehow I seem to have survived

This site has a unique vibe and a lot of VERY sound people so sit back, have a smooch around all the various sections, get a feel for the place and chill - it's worth it

Had a Harley for 2 years in ADDITION to a GS. Anyone swopping out GS for HARLEY as their sole bike just doesn't " GET IT ".

Neil, there is a difference between good natured banter and piss taking and some of the stuff in this section which is being passed off as banter. I've been around long enough to know recognise what is humourous and what is just plain abuse. Too much of the latter has crept into this forum of late.
