Yep 2000mls and swopped it for a Harley Dyner Aniversary. Yer I know all the shyte about Harleys but hey fork it. the LC Will poss be sorted in about 12 months. Stop the rattles the jerky fuel injection. and the return to the clunky selection of 1st gear. they sorted it on last years Ralley edition. So good luck and bye bye, im off to buy some chrome polish:beerjug:

seems like more and more are thinking this way every day :eek

I'm suprised at that, I test rode a few Harley's and really didn't get on with them.

I was keeping an open mind when looking to replace my 1150gs, and while the Harley's weren't bad bikes, they didn't really excel at anything other than the chrome.

They didn't go that well, the handling was a bit compromised, and the brakes were only just "ok". They left me feeling very nonplussed about the experience. And worse, on the test ride of my fave HD - the XR1200, I stopped at at red light, looked down to see the engine rattling around in the frame, and it reminded me of the Briggs and Stratton engine in my cement mixer...which was the final nail in the HD coffin for me...

If the look is more important than the dynamics, then they are great bikes, but nowhere near as much fun as either my old 1150gs or my new LC for me.

Good luck anyway, hope you enjoy the HD.

Holy turd, ive looked at some of your old posts, 16 weeks from a babbling excited no more mr grumpy, to an 'im out thread'.

Hi all. Picked my new GS. TE.up from Oxford BMW. Bloody hell they aint joking when they say its better. Bloody chalk an cheese. I thought I was being a pratt changing my 8 month old GS. Ralley. But got a fair offer for it. On sat rode it to the dealers and without a test ride on there demo, took a gamble and rode off with a white T.E.edition. Shyte what a difference. Love it love it. If you aint ready for a change. Do not I say again D o not go out on a demo. It will give you a Pi##ed off feeling when you go back to yours.:pullface

Seems a bit odd having traded in a 8 month old Twin cam. Maybe it's a case of form over function given his latest choice :ymca

Born again biker ?

Have you sold it?

I might be interested if it's a 2014 model.
