Hard luck, Frank.
I had the same shock a few weeks ago but, luckily, I found mine very soon after.
I hope you're as lucky in the end.
How'd you get the van reg and what're the guards doing in following that up?

Anywhere? Have you tried where the van is registered?
And how about asking the registered keeper of the van why was his/her vehicle at the scene of a motorcycle theft?

I could of been a detective you know.....

Timpo.

PS. Don't tell me the bike was left outside in visual from the street?... Unlocked?:eek

I can imagine the report being filled out..

I realise you're in shock so appologise for the p155 taking, hope you get it back soon.
I'll post your photos & the bike's details on another bike forum I use that has a heavy Irish contingent.

the van is cavan registered but the guards say it is registered to someone in dublin.
they wont say who or where in case i go to them asking questions myself
(i have a few long haired biker friends who are good at asking questions about missing bikes)
guards say they will ask all the questions but as they asked 3 times had i insurance of it i dont hold much hope.
the bike was locked in a shed with a glass window and while the guys were not seen taking the bikethe cctv on the filing station next door had the van coming and leaving at the same time that a neighbour saw the van pulling away and the shed door busted.
ok i should have had it in a dark shed where it could not be seen with blankets covering it and it chained to the floor with a dog sitting on top of it.
in my bussiness i have been robbed plenty of times and even twice at home so i know lots about security and robbery.
its a sad fact of life but that does not make it any easier when some scumbag walks away with what you worked for
