3 years of trouble-free motoring (1150GSA) - bike is MOTd on Sat afternoon.

Ride home 7 miles, park in garage. Get bike out this morning - 1m down road, clutch fails. Manage to limp home - nowt in resoviour.

Fill up - fluid pissing out the bottom of the bike. Get in car.

Seems highly co-incidental that this happens just after the garage has had at it for an MOT - but what on earth can you shag-up clutch wise during an MOT???

Lucky you weren't on your way to work, eh ? :)

PS probly your slave cylinder seals - you've got all the time in the world to fix it :) :)

Bit strange that, have you had a gander round the bleed valve. Failing that try having a look round the slave cylinder. If it's pissing out at least it should be easy to spot!

Can't see why they would have disturbed either for the MOT but who knows!

What you really want it to be, in order of least cost and grief is

1) the banjo nut on the slave cylinder has just worked loose ( common problem.

2) The ali washer between the banjo and slave has corroded, letting fluid leak by.( common problem)

3) The clutch fluid hose has corroded at the banjo join. ( common problem)

4) Slave cylinder has popped it's clogs , you can't get seal kits, it's a complete unit replacement. ( common problem).

Can you see a theme developing here !!

Picture of the pipe corrosion - it's been posted many time before.

I was. I'm on 3 month notice terms.

On the plus side, I have to have a day off tomorrow anyway, and the wee bairn has raging chickenpox as of this morning - so will give me something to do.

Cheers Steppers - will have a stripdown tonight (good thing clocks changed).

If all else fails, will try to gaff rig something to get it to you on Thurs.
