I bought one yesterday. I had a Roof previously (very quiet helmet). Very comfortable, great visibility, and I love the sun-visor. I'm just trying to figure out how to lower it using only my *mind*. Not been in the rain yet, and is louder than my Roof (not hard!) but still good.
My only petty gripe is; I'm used to riding with my visor open (idiot). The visor catches the wind badly and causes a lot of head vibration if left open - it really needs to be closed. I just get complacent with a low riding seat and the great screen on a GS. It's mostly for cosmetic reasons - maybe they'll do a peak for it at some point.

Mine has been on order since the end of March- a 52/53 in white/silver metallic. I emailed BMW UK Customer Services and they told me I wouldn't see it until June/July
No stock in Germany
There only seems to be medium sizes available - so if you're small or large tough luck, apparantly

My helmet has arrived and picked up today first impressions is that it's great, need to give it a proper try.

I got my Sys 6 when I bought a new 1200GS last Saturday and so far I likw it.
I asked about a bluetooth kit but the Sys 6 kit is not due out until August... WTF is that about ???

You mustn't, under any circumstances, open the sun visor, by pushing it up with your finger, or it will mechanically fail. Something to do with a wire. You must only use the visor button. That's what I am told.

It wasn't the sun visor that broke
. The outer visor came away at the pivot point. Not good at 01:10 in the morning when its just started raining.

Picked up my helmet at 0900hrs and by 1700hrs the lower vent had dropped off, never even noticed
. However, consider the helmet far superior to the '5', Visor works well(in the pouring rain) + the sun visor is great. Reasonably quiet and a comfy fit. As stated in a previous post, I can't understand how the helmet is out and the head set is still months away - mind you if they get it right! Overall- having worn the helmet for 700miles over the weekend & with a hang over on the Saturday- a good piece of kit
