Not sure, but why not get the Nomad rear rack as well , which is designed to integrate with the side racks ?

The GasGas seat looks more narrow and less padded than that on the Husky, or is it just my eyesight?
Does anyone know if the Perun moto rack fit with the Nomad soft luggage rack as per the items in the links below. Seems to me that they will fit together looking at the mounting points but defer to those with greater knowledge.

I would say narrower and more rounded whereas 701 is a bit wider and flatter.
The best upgrade by far is to get a Renazco seat .
The best seats I’ve ever used .
I did a 668 mile day on my 701 in 2021.
No aches !!
I may order a 701 for March. Anyone know if you can take these bikes to ABR, or are they classed as Enduro's ?

Back to the 701 - Husqvarna screen turned up today and fitted (even came with a stick-on template to make it easy to drill the holes in the right place).
I have a 701 and enquired with ABR management whether the 701 would be permitted on the trails next year and they confirmed in writing that there would not be a problem as the bike comes with rear footpegs as standard when new even if they are not fitted, so you are all good.![]()
Thanks Arsey, already had the Preun Moto rack on the bike when I got it so trying not to spend more than I have to, hence working out which side racks will go with it.
I would definitely dump the standard mirrors a.s.a.p. and get some double take mirrors. The standard mirrors are weak and the stems will snap first time you drop the bike. I managed to snap both of mine in one day!

TRF is a good point, my TRF arent interested in adventure bikes (East Mids) so I was put off them, but with a lighter bike that would be possible.
There were loads of people on CRF250L's and allsorts going off road for what looked like their first time at the ABR which is what it should be about.
A sticking point seems to be insurance for the GasGas, virtually no one has it on their databases, and the one that did seem to charge about 4 times the price of the Husqvarna. As an example a Husq701 with 0 no claims is just over £200, whereas the GasGas is about £700. I may look at multi bike policies, but have 6 months left to run, so think I'll order for March and sort it out nearer the time.

Big excess on all of them as desirable bikes and easy to steal.
For the gas gas ins it’s a tiny bit more than my ktm , same excess coming out 250 a year vs 180 ish for my older KTM.. Confused.com doesn’t find them properly, so I got a ktm quote using a ktm reg no and you can then swap it over when you deep link to the site to ‘buy’ I just stuck in hg22 rzj and it drags back gg es700.
