Just watched part 1 on BBC Four. Jesus! Is it really nearly fourteen years auld? Still great viewing thanks to the writing and acting. It still looks and sounds fresh but film colours seem a bit washed out somehow.

Magic stuff though. On again next week

I remember watching an adaptation a few years ago, its probably the same one. Good story, Banks churns them out n certainly worth a watch.
Even if it is a bit dated.
