I’ve also disconnected the exhaust power valve. The engine feels much more lively now right through the rev range
, and I’m now having trouble keeping the front wheel down when accelerating in 1st gear.

hi yonkyo is that the exhaust valve directly under seat ? do you just disconnect the cable ? what is it there for if it runs better without, is it a emission jobby.
i have had the same probs with the smell of oil . when i picked my gsa up it was really strong so i had a chat with a mechanic he said the smell is down to the motor burning a little oil because its new and it will stop, which it did,
i also have the same smell on the hp2 so i am hoping it stops shortly.

exhaust valve disconnection , when you turn ignition on ,the valve under the seat moves round to prime ,you can see this with the seat off . what happens to the cable at the back is it left hanging ?? when you disconnect .

.got away with it ,just had a look a minute ago and checked pressure ,normal . thank f--- for that ,

, cable moving round on wheel priming it . if it does not work maybe its been disconnected at dealers already
????? .not long now before its run in now and the first service .
