That video is perfect example of why you need to use a decent chain / U lock or similar - yes they can be overcome but it takes time- so they will have a higher risk of being caught and usually go on to the next easy target .
Diagnostics plug. Plug a device in, program ecu, push button, start bike and your gone. Made even easier with keyless since you don't even have to force a lock. Not that that would add much time to the job anyway.
Yeah, steering lock looked like it took hardly any force at all. Wonder why manufacturers don't provide a way of threading through a ulock or something similar to double lock it.
Here's a nice GS for someone to nick this morning.
No security beyond the steering lock.
Corner of Muscovy Street and Tower Gardens, EC3
There's a nice 125 KTM that's close by in the same bay every day, no lock or chain either.
And the cnuts moan that other cnuts pinch them. The theft (of bikes owned by cnuts that probably live miles away) forces up the central London post code theft premiums of those of us who live here.

Because many bods (lots and lots of them in London) cannot be arsed to lock their baby, steed, keeper (call them what you will) with anything, even a basic disc lock available on-line (so no chance of being ripped-off) for about £30 and now someone wants the manufacturer to fit something else. Meanwhile, they'll bitch like fury that their insurer ripped them off at last renewal for the £200 they wanted to insure the same baby, steed, keeper 24/7/365. It's always some other fecker's fault.

Water Money ... agreed.
Unicycler , thank you.
wapping seems to think its wrongful to leave your bike without a chain.
His words were "And the cnuts moan that other cnuts pinch them."
Nothing to do with the criminals heh?
Maybe he is the sad misguided guy who looks at a rape case and says "she was wearing a short skirt, provocative and certainly asking for it ?"
I think you maybe putting words into Wappings mouth. I don't see where Wapping has absolved the criminals of any blame .
