throtle problem

sitting at a steady speed crack the throttle open and the engine dies ,,,hapend a couple of times last week today much worse ie sometimes when blipping the throttle before changing down engine dies momenteraly 03 1150 gs 27k anyone any ideas ...cheers gordon

I had this problem all i did was cleaned the TPS connection plug (left hand throttle body ) hopr this helps

gave it a clean no change

Are both throttle cables are fully located in their housing?
It's a poss. Or the TPS?

There are threads on this sort of problem if you have a search. I had a similar prob' which turned out to be clogged fuel filter but there are other causes including water in the tank. Is it better with a full tank?

Presume its a twin plug motor....
Do a search on plug sticks and how to isolate failures.
Steptoe has gone thru the checks once or twice.

Sounds familiar ... coil pack / stick could be the issue.
