Timing chain tensioner

1150gsa just changed the timing chain tensioner for the up graded two piece set, could not get the old unit out,just no enough clearance to get it out,the suspension wish bone left hand armin the way so a ratchet strap around the top fork yoke and around front of the wish bone to pull the wish bone up and the job done,thou other alternative would have been to get somebody to sit on the bike of its stands but needs must,any way much quiter now.

It can be removed very easily without any drama.

Just pull it upwards way out past the point of pulling it out and tip it forward then slide it back down and out, so the bottom comes out first. Ping the spring up inside with a small screwdriver.
