My Vespa PX is held together with the stuff!!
Side note, my missus has Vespa too. Was horrified to see rust underneath and around battery box. Less than 4 years old!! Be changing soon, but can’t afford T Max.

Mines an 2008 and something I bought just to rebuild to past the time on wet days

I am surprised at how bad the newer ones are at rusting to be honest

Funny thing is the “real” ones didn’t suffer from rust unless they were left in a field for 30 years

A set of Snap On T handled Torx wrenches was one of my best buys. Expensive for what they are but they just seem to 'bite' into the screw.

You never get the feeling it's going to 'slip'.

Other than them, Teng torque wrenches.

Much prefer knowing I have torqued fittings to the manufacturer designated numbers, assuming the wrenches are reasonably accurate.
Yeah, Snap On is still the AK47 of the tool world. I’ve got a few things that I picked up used on eBay over the years, but no Torx. 3/8 stubby ratchet is my favourite. Teng torque wrenches👍👍
PS. Someone is selling nice set of Snap On ring spanners on here…….probably gone already though 🤔

The one I bought has clearly been used and abused (10+ owners and 10k miles) but I don't mind as its just a project bike to tinker on. Bit of rust but nothing worrying compared to what I've seen on newer bikes so I agree its shocking to see the difference between quality old bikes and newer bikes

I find they quite fun to work on

I've just looked at the price of Snap On Torx set 😲

I need to spend a few more nights on the street corner bobbing for apples

And don’t say I’m not nice to you?! 😂

No, T handle wrenches. The set cost about £90 ten or so years ago.

I also have a Halfords Advance socket set - managed to break the T25 bit

I mostly use my Halfords advanced tool kit as got a blinding discount years ago and its done me well.

Are you saying get the T Handle wrenches?? I have been looking but don't know if they are worth it??

I bought a Snap On socket set back in 1972. Still using it & nothing has ever broken. Superb quality.

I like the t handles. The Motohansa kit has a nice universal t bar thing.

Yes, T Handle.

For me, they are worth it. They just feel right.
