Touratech Adjustable Windscreen Bracket

Hi,

if you have bought one of the brackets (which are very good), I would suggest checking the 4 black adjustor screws at regular intervals as they work themselves loose and then jettison off the bike when you least expect it (for example whilst overtaking at speed on the A14).

Think i will either add a spring washer or perhaps put a dab of lactite to keep the little beggars firmly in place.

the other option is to find the optimum position for the screen then replace the thumb wheels with nylocks then nooo probs.

Yeh, 2 of mine flew past my head at speed, as above loctite and nylocks

Hi folks,

I have also lost one of the adjusters! I will add a spring washer to each and see if that does the trick.

Next stop, CalSci screen I think...

Ive had mine on for a few months , and noticed they worked loose , and kept tightening them up . So ive drilled the bolts on mine withe £mm drill and put R clips on , still come loose but i dont loose the hand wheels
Its a problem that TT should address because it isnt cheap tackle
