Touratech Service.. what service?

well my Touratech handguards and spoilers arrived after 10 days . but no special fittings for 100/80G/S
Garmin mount ordered 22 days ago .sourced one from Autocom (5 minutes).who apparently get them from Touratech uk........Nice guys, slow deliveries, and hey a little modification is not the end of the world, after all we are all ingenious we ride Beemers

Do they actually keep much stock in or is it all sourced from Germany when you ring up and order parts?

Touratech stuff is Made in Germany, my understanding is that touratech UK will only stock most common items, but delivery from Germany will be quick. In my case (see above), the item had to be made in Germany, hence the wait (it arrived two days ago !!!

Just thought I'd add my experiences with Touratech.

Ordered a number of items 16 Dec and they still haven't arrived. Is this sort of timescale normal for these guys or am I getting a raw deal here?

Any thoughts?

Ok. Now my patience is starting to wear really thin. Is it too much to ask that items you order arrive within a month of them being ordered? Here we are almost 1 month since my order and I'm still waiting for my parts to arrive!!

The thing that really winds me up with all this is that I haven't received any sort of explanation to say why the things haven't arrived. Its not as though Touratech is particularly cheap either. The end result of this is that I will not purchase anything else from this concern and will actively encourage other people not to do so either. Is it really that hard to get this sort of thing right?!

Anyone else got any comments?

Bought most of my TT stuff when they were still selling it from Bracken.

Are you ordering it via the web or phoning? If phoning any dealer, I always ask if the item I want is in stock and, if it's not, when it will arrive.

I'm sure I did this last time I ordered from TT a la Plumb and the stuff arrived as advertised (ie some within a couple of days, the rest in a couple of weeks). This was probably about 18 months ago, though.

i have quite a few bits of TT stuff. it was all in stock as advertised and was sent to me promptly. most of it was at a good price too.

obviously you don't get that kind of service from TT UK, i bought it all from you lot
