tps paint mark

Does anyone knows if the paint marks from the TPS fixing screws must be there in any case because I don't see any trace of paint on my 1100 gs's tps screws nor to TPS housing.

No sign of paint on my 1150s TPS slotted (the adjustment) screws.
What you can do is after adjusting the TPS to correct voltage is to paint aound the screws with white correcting fluid (the thick sticky stuff).
