Now that my 04 (May) 12GS is out of warranty i took it to a dealer for a part ex againt a new one. Tried the adv version and k12s and didnt prefer either so will stick with the standard 12. The part ex price seemed fine £6800(abs, heated grips) - however I was a bit surprised that the new bike prices have gone up quite a bit. Given that servos have now gone(which must save some cost) and i dont want ABS this time it still comes to 9300 for the new bike with heated grips. Therefore 2500 to change. I dont feel as though this is a bad deal for a new bike (particularly given the extended warranty costs) but thought i would run it past you guys.

I was quoted £3500 (difference to pay) from one Dealer and £2800 from another... To px an 05 plate (July) 20k ABS for new... with ABS!?!

3k to change 11 month old 1150gsa to 1200gsa in july. Kept the 1150

sounds like an excellent deal to me, i only got offered 6k for my imac sept '04 GS with abs heated grips etc.
