Tyre pressure monitors?

I have had the front TPM sensor display showing 3 dashes intermittently. Now, both of them are doing the same and a yellow warning triangle and a tyre symbol(top left of display) has come on.
Anyone else had this? Does this mean I have a faulty sensor?

I lose one or the other on a regular basis....

Last week in Italy i had the same symptoms as you, with warning triangles, etc....

Stopped for fuel... worked fine ten minutes later

Happened to me .............

Took it to Bahnstormers, they re-registered the TPS with the main unit and all is well ... Easy as

How old is your GS? The batteries in the sensors may need to be replaced.

I had the same problem on the front and took to Bahnstormers where they reset it. Took the bike back the following week with the same problem and they replaced it. 6 months later - same with the rear. Bahnstormers reset it again, still the same problem so they replaced it. No problems since.

All under warranty mind...

bloody things are a waste of time if you ask me, need to read in PSI and never really seem to be accurate, only got them as part of premium or dynamic, whichever package they come with. I still always use proper tyre guage. I suppose at least you can see if you're tyres aren;t deflating while you;re riding if nothing else...

The display can be altered to read in PSI - it's done via the CIP codes, which can be easily done when the bike is in for a Service. At the same time the clock can be changed to 24 hour format if you prefer that, & the indicator self-cancel extended or turned off all together.

I probably wouldn't have chosen to buy this option, but like you it came as a part of a package. I have found it's display surprisingly accurate, compared to not one but three different home gauges.

+1 on all of the above. I have had mine changed to read in psi and they are always within 1 psi of the three manual guages I use when cold. I wouldn't have paid extra for mine either but having said that they did warn me of a slow puncture when I left home on a 140 mile run which I was very thankfull for.

I have also had my self cancelling indicators adjusted to maximum duration so they don't turn off halfway around a roundabout.

Thanks chaps... Since having sensors I have not been checking the tyres...this is a bad habit... I think I will go back to regular checks....
