Bump
I've been thinking of updating myself - not a middle age crisis, more a nearly OAP thing. A real BMW, like my R75/6, seemed to be the thing, with proper sticking out cylinders, not one of those tall parallel jobies. Then I heard that there is to be a 1200 for those of us without extended legs. Not having a Motorrad dealer nearby, I thought I'd check specs and prices on-line. To date, there is no information available for 2008.
An email to Motorrad got this reply
"Dear Mr *******

I can confirm that we are currently changing internet providers which is taking longer than we initially anticipated. Our Motorrad Department have told me that they expect the new website to go live next week and have offered their apologies for any inconvenience that this maybe causing you.
Our dealerships will be able to assist you with any enquiries that you may have until our website is up and running. If there is any specific information that you require immediately, please let me know and I can address this with you, either directly or through a BMW Motorrad Dealership.
I am sorry for any inconvenience that this matter is causing you. I can assure you of my attention, should you have any further queries or concerns.

I'm glad to know that someone is alive with customer services, if now I could be convinced to spend my cash with BMW Ireland.
