Ok,ok you can use the bike.

Jezus, you do one big trip and you think yer Charley Booooorman

worse than useless

10 days later and

and still no updated sites, still 2007, still behind the times.

No info on the new R1200GS, no info on the soon to be "short" R1200GS.

Nothing, nada, feck all

I went to Kearys about 3 weeks ago to get a price on trading in against the 08 GSA, I was told that I wouldn't get a price until my bike was inspected by their mechanics. So I produced my bike for inspection and I am still waiting for a quote.

2 years ago I did similar and they never got back to me.
They don't seem too pushed about their sales or else they just want cash buyers.

Bump

I've been thinking of updating myself - not a middle age crisis, more a nearly OAP thing. A real BMW, like my R75/6, seemed to be the thing, with proper sticking out cylinders, not one of those tall parallel jobies. Then I heard that there is to be a 1200 for those of us without extended legs. Not having a Motorrad dealer nearby, I thought I'd check specs and prices on-line. To date, there is no information available for 2008.

An email to Motorrad got this reply
