Voge DS900X

Looks like I’m out then. I’m only a 29” leg

there are some videos posted in this thread where a couple are reviewing the bike and then follow up with getting a pair on longer term loan

the chap is some sort of hobbit at 5'7" and 29" leg - he claims he can be flat foot one side and ball of foot on the other

Hobit…that’s me

I can flat foot both feet with a 34” seam

What if I do ? You do seem to have a bee in your bonnet about a few of us not keeping a bike for long . Why does it bother you so much ?

I don’t give a shite really, it’s called “banter” …. Kind of like humour with sarcasm….

From a guy on AdvRider who owns both a Voge 900 and 750 GS

It is a BMW F750GS /F850GS clone, with the following differences and similarities (quiet sure, because I am the proud owner of a 5 year old F750GS):

Similarities:
- same motor as current F900GS (but with 95HP instead of 105HP, just to be able to be driven by non experienced users uin Europe). Loncin (Voge is just one of the trading names) builds tha motor for all F750, F850 and F900. It also built the last G650GS and G650xcountry ex-Rotax 652cc single cilinders. They also build the full C400 scooter with the SR4 name
- same Brembo brakes
- same chassis around the motor,
- almost exact subchassis (except the 2 rear bolts for the topcase support that are a little bit closer to the center, the two fornt bolts are in teh exact same place)
- same swingarm
- very similar exhaust (in fact I have put a spare used BMW F750 exhaust to spare the new one of the Voge)
- very similar cockpit digital display
- very similar quickshifter
- 4 riding modes (enduro can only be engaged when stopped)

Diffrerences:
- main difference is price, 8.888€ in Spain (9.100 on the road, several months waiting list, 3 colours: full black, grey and lime, grey and blue), 5 year warranty
- Kayaba 43mm fully adjustable forks (suspect they are very similar to the Tenere 700 standard ones, but not yet sure)
- Kayaba rear shock, also more adjustable than the BMW one, but same blting points, maybe a little bit longer, since the DSX900 is slightly taller than my F750GS
- seat, similar, but different bolting points, so not swappable
- windscreen not swappable
- plastics completely different
- crashbars may be compatible, not yet sure
- tubeless spoke wheels 21+17 inch, similar to F850
- 28 mm handlebar (instead of 22mm F750GS)

- full set of goodies: heated grips AND seat, front DVR camera with wifi connection to the phone, rear radar with signals in the mirrors, speed control, cornering and long range auxiliary LED lights, full LED lights, double height screen, central stand in addition tyo the side stand, TPMS....
- ABS is not the pro-version with cornering sensor
- you can update the firmware by yourself (although may void warranty)

Having watched the vid, I’ve ordered the mount with phone holder plus a taller smoked screen and tank protection from Uncle Wang
