Youre absolutely right. BUT….the early adopters may just be getting a bargain, we won’t know until many people have taken the gamble.
Meanwhile in BMW world you buy a bike that cost twice as much, has known big depreciation, and lots of known problems complete with variable dealer quality.
Hmmm, risking a lot less on the Voge doesn’t seem such a big gamble in reality does it.

if I was going for new now I’d choose the Voge and save a good few thousand quid
Which is pretty standard for most bikes , apart from GSs that seem to lose more, judging by some that have lost £8k in less than a year
So nearly 50% value wiped off in 10 months and you’re banging on about a bike losing 50% in three years.
That GS owner could have virtually bought a brand new Voge DS900X with the depreciation he’s lost in TEN MONTHS. !

for the Voge buyers, they are focusing on cold, hard cash at point of sale and further down the line when their maximum loss is £9000 (or a lot less for @Arsey in his offshore tax haven) if the bike has no value in future.

In fairness - the 850 was a complete balls up by bmw.A three year old F850GS on the other hand….about half the price of the a new equivalent. F900GS.

Took everything that was good about the 750/800 and threw it away.
As an example. ORS had 12x 750’s. Then 12x 800’s.
They had 2-3 850’s as they are that poor.
Back with 12x 900’s.
That bodes well for the Voge.
